“For some time I have been watching for a casual encounter to mention this but you and I don’t happen upon each other as much these days. I have decided to send an email so that it doesn’t go unsaid.
I want to tell you that I found the Jones Masonry contractor team exceptional this summer. Several of those of us who work in Cox spontaneously mentioned this over the summer. For one thing, they finished on time (allowing people back into offices and to prepare lab rooms for the start of the semester). I realize this would have been part of their contract, but an essential part from our perspective.
But more than that, they were polite, courteous, and pleasant to share space (hallways, doorways) with. I have never encountered an external contractor team that showed such consideration, respect and even the frequent ‘Good morning’!!
